About The Position

The Flower Technician is responsible for supporting daily plant care activities during the flowering stage of cultivation. This entry-level role focuses on maintaining healthy plants, supporting flower development, and assisting with cultivation activities that contribute to crop quality and yield. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while following established cultivation procedures and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, greenhouse operations, landscaping, manufacturing, or cannabis cultivation.
  • Familiarity with flowering-stage plant care and cultivation practices.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Coursework or interest in Horticulture, Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all company safety procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with flowering-stage plant care activities, including defoliation, pruning, trellising, plant support, and canopy maintenance.
  • Support the monitoring of plant health and notify leadership of any concerns related to pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies, or environmental conditions.
  • Assist in maintaining optimal environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, airflow, and lighting schedules.
  • Perform watering and nutrient application activities according to established schedules and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with irrigation and fertigation system operations as directed.
  • Support plant movement, room organization, and flowering room preparation activities.
  • Complete plant labeling, tagging, inventory tracking, and required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain strict housekeeping standards to ensure cultivation areas remain clean, sanitized, and organized.
  • Learn and perform specialized flowering tasks, including trellis maintenance, lollipopping, defoliation, and harvest preparation.
  • Assist with harvest-related activities, including plant staging, plant breakdown, and room cleanup.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding daily tasks, plant health concerns, and production goals.
  • Adapt to changing schedules, workflows, and cultivation priorities as needed.
  • Follow all company security procedures and operational requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
