Requirements

  • Controls and instrumentation experience
  • Ensure timeliness of return from breaks
  • Work in a fast-paced controlled environment
  • Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
  • 1+ year in working with processing quality at Trulieve
  • Able to work under minimum supervision
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage changes in working schedule
  • Minimum 6 months in the Flower Technician II role or 2 years working with equivalent equipment complexity
  • SAP/Emaint/state mandated system (Metrc, Biotrack, MJ Freeway) entry experience preferred
  • Outstanding communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must be able to pass state mandated background screening

Responsibilities

  • Ensure incoming inspections (moisture, texture, overall quality, size through sort, etc.) of incoming batches of flower and pre roll material are being performed
  • Ensure proper bud size per brand standard, weigh out and package flower and/or pre rolls during and after machine operation
  • Perform proper setup and change over of equipment to ensure efficient operation of preroll, packaging, and labeling equipment
  • Trained and have been signed off to operate and monitor machinery at least three packaging machines, including but not limited to sealers, label printers (if applicable), Apollo, Combi lifts, Paxium, etc.
  • Trained to perform machine setup, changeover, and troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to maintenance
  • Conduct and document routine equipment checks and minor adjustments during operations
  • Fill out all proper paperwork checks and PM documentation, submitting any issues with equipment to leads and Facilities and Maintenance
  • Ensure sealing machine is operating correctly, checking that the seal is to standard and machines are operating correctly
  • Prepare, print, and apply labels to bags/jars/boxes of product secondary labels through equipment and/or manual as needed, ensuring compliance in accordance with product and label specifications
  • Ensure cleaning processes for equipment, verification paperwork is filled out, and PPE per cGMP and Trulieve maintenance standards are being performed
  • Train Flower packaging tech. II to packaging, machine fill, label and other job duties to quality standards
  • Maintain detailed records of completed tasks for documentation and traceability
  • Collaborate with the facilities and maintenance team and leadership to resolve any issues and questions in the documentation
  • Monitor packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance to SOPs and address any issues
  • Notify leads of any quality, machine operation, and material challenges as they occur, as well as fixes performed
  • Attend to other job duties as assigned by management
