About The Position

We’re looking for a Flow-Wrapper Packaging Operator with hands-on experience operating Ilapak horizontal flow-wrapper packaging machines (or similar models). In this role, you’ll keep production lines moving and ensure our baked goods are packaged consistently, efficiently, and shelf-ready. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in food packaging, this is a great opportunity to join our growing team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
6+ months of experience operating Ilapak (or similar horizontal flow-wrapper) machines required
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to stay organized and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Prior food production or food manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor horizontal flow-wrapper packaging machine(s)
Set up machine for different product runs, including film roll changes and adjustments
Package finished baked goods accurately, maintaining speed and quality standards
Inspect product appearance to ensure packaging meets quality requirements
Perform daily cleaning, sanitation, and basic preventative maintenance
Assist with machine disassembly/reassembly for deep cleaning and troubleshooting
Identify and report equipment issues promptly to supervisors/maintenance
Follow all Food Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
Support production team with additional tasks as needed
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
