About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Flow Iron / Valve Technician to join our team in Morgantown, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in the oil and gas service industry. The technician will assist with the inspection, repair, testing, and recertification of customer flow iron and valves while supporting daily shop operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 0 to 1 year of related experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely in a shop environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Iron Technician experience or certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Rebuild plug valves, check valves, relief valves, and chiksans
• Perform visual and ultrasonic thickness (UT) inspections on flow iron
• Prepare flow iron and valves for testing and recertification
• Assist with cleaning, disassembly, and assembly of equipment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
