About The Position
Provides customer service assistance to customers and manages incoming and outgoing shipments. This role involves verifying shipment information against various documents, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and resolving any shipping or receiving issues. The Flow Controller is also responsible for maintaining good manufacturing practices and observing safety rules.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 3 months verifiable customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Provides customer service assistance to customers and manages incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Set daily delivery
- Process incoming shipments
- Process completed shipments
- Resolve any issues with shipping and/or receiving with internal departments
- Files paperwork
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
- Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
