About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused driver for dedicated routes operating out of Ocala, FL. This position offers consistent routes, steady hours, and predictable weekly schedules, with 2 nights spent over the road. The role involves operating a day cab Class A tractor-trailer and a straight truck with a liftgate as needed. Key responsibilities include safely operating company equipment, performing inspections, loading/unloading freight, completing deliveries on time, and providing excellent customer service. Drivers may take the truck home if they have safe and legal parking.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 year of verifiable CDL driving experience
Experience operating day cab tractor-trailers
Experience with liftgate deliveries and freight handling
Ability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo
Clean driving record with no major violations
Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety practices
Ability to complete required inspections and maintain accurate logs
Comfortable with regional routes and overnight stays (2 nights per week)
Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to meet physical demands of delivery work

Nice To Haves

Experience with ELD/inspection systems

Responsibilities

Safely operate company equipment in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections using ELD/inspection systems
Load, unload, and properly secure freight using liftgate and pallet jack
Complete deliveries on time while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Communicate with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient operations
Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
Pick up returns, damaged goods, and pallets (Pallet returns qualify for bonus pay)
