About The Position
The Floral Operations Specialist at The Design Haus helps ensure the quality and success of events. The role maintains inventory standards, executes event setups and strikes, and collaborates closely with the Operations Lead. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where excellence is essential.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive delivery vans or a box truck.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry more than 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of floral design and the wedding or event industry.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain inventory to meet The Design Haus’s quality standards and ensure items are efficient and accessible to retrieve.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures for installations and event execution.
- Safely pack, transport, and set up inventory and designs for events, then remove them after the event.
- Recover and organize items after events.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and oversee the proper handling of flowers and equipment.
