About The Position

Sunshine Bouquet Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floral Merchandiser to service one of our key clients. This individual will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and merchandising high-volume fresh-cut flower displays. Floral Merchandisers represent our company and our products at the store level. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail and thrives under minimal supervision.

Requirements

Must be able to travel.
Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Ability to stand and move throughout the workday.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
No allergies to floral materials or foliage.
Ability to follow planograms accurately.
High attention to detail when handling product.
Punctual and dependable.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime during floral holidays.
Strong communication skills with supervisors and clients.
Adherence to all safety protocols at all times.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting a field sales organization (highly preferred).
Prior experience in the floral industry (required)
Prior merchandising experience (required)

Responsibilities

Checking floral product quality and ensuring display compliance with planograms.
Lead in re-setting new floral departments for grand openings and store remodels.
Assist in training of floral manager in "ordering to sales".
Training and evaluating floral leads on the proper execution of the merchandising plan.
Completing and submitting customer reports.
Access cold storage and warehouse area as needed.
Occasionally moving palletized product using a manual pallet jack.
Lifting and palletizing boxes when necessary.
