About The Position

The Floral Manager is responsible for leading all floral department operations, including merchandising, product quality, inventory management, customer service, and team leadership. This role ensures execution of company standards while driving sales, managing shrink, and delivering visually appealing, high-quality floral offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop floral department associates
  • Create schedules aligned with business needs and labor standards
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action as needed
  • Foster a positive, creative, and customer-focused team environment
  • Oversee daily operations including receiving, care, rotation, merchandising, and arrangement of floral products
  • Ensure freshness, quality, and presentation standards are consistently met
  • Execute seasonal programs, promotional displays, and holiday transitions
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of department equipment and displays
  • Manage ordering, forecasting, and inventory levels to support sales and minimize waste
  • Monitor shrink, spoilage, and markdowns in alignment with company expectations
  • Analyze sales trends and adjust product assortment and displays accordingly
  • Control department expenses and support overall store financial performance
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and fulfill custom floral requests and arrangements
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the department is visually appealing and customer-ready at all times
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of floral products
  • Ensure associates follow safe work practices and equipment guidelines
