About The Position

Westborn Market, a third-generation family-owned business with four locations across Metro Detroit, is seeking a Floral Designer. The company started in 1963 and values quality goods, superior service, and strong team member relationships, treating customers as friends and team members as family. The Floral Designer will be responsible for creating and executing unique floral designs, as well as those requested by clients, working independently and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Floral Design experience required
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Creating unique floral arrangements for a variety of events and occasions
• Designing custom pieces for the design showcase
• Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral choices and design options
• Preparing floral arrangements for daily delivery and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Providing excellent customer service
