About The Position

As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for bringing customers' visions to life by creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as romance, celebration, or remembrance. This role requires a strong understanding of floral seasonality, perishability, and care requirements. Key duties include maintaining clean and organized workspaces and displays, replenishing inventory, and ensuring the meticulous placement of every stem and ribbon. The position also involves physical tasks such as lifting and moving floral products and supplies, often weighing up to 40 lbs., and working with specialized tools like helium tanks. The ideal candidate will possess a creative eye, a passion for floral design, and excellent customer service skills to translate customer ideas into beautiful arrangements. Requirements

• Experience in floral arrangement and design, with a strong creative eye and attention to detail
• Familiarity with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements
• Ability to engage with customers, uncover their needs, and translate their ideas into beautiful arrangements
• Capability of maintaining clean, efficient workspaces and managing inventory and supplies
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Ability to perform tasks that require standing and moving throughout the day
• Familiarity with floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems
• Willingness to partner with fellow associates and contribute to a positive team environment

Responsibilities

• Design stunning arrangements using knowledge of floral seasonality and perishability
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays
• Replenish inventory
• Ensure every stem and ribbon is perfectly placed
• Lift and move floral products and supplies, often up to 40 lbs.
• Work with helium tanks and other tools of the trade
• Engage with customers, uncover their needs, and translate their ideas into beautiful arrangements
• Partner with fellow associates and contribute to a positive team environment
