About The Position

Westborn Market is seeking a Part-Time Floral Designer to join their team in Berkley, MI. This role involves creating and executing unique floral designs, as well as custom pieces requested by clients. The ideal candidate will be able to design independently and efficiently, providing expert advice on floral choices and design options. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Floral Design experience required
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed
• Moderate physical activity
• Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing, and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day

Responsibilities

• Creating unique floral arrangements for a variety of events and occasions
• Designing custom pieces for the design showcase
• Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral choices and design options
• Preparing floral arrangements for daily delivery and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Providing excellent customer service
