About The Position
Assist in the day to day operations of the Floral department and support team as needed. This is a casual, part-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Requirements
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support in the day to day operations of the Department
- Assist with event set up and take down
- Support the installation of ‘Christmas’ across the resort
- Assist in Christmas installation alongside Senior Design Team
- Oversee ancillary rental inventory
- Pulling items, checking them out and counting them to ensure all are returned
- Minor maintenance of rental items
- Paint touch-ups
- Order replacement items
- Complete hands-on department responsibilities
- Floral bucket washing and storage
- Flower processing and Stem cleaning
- Laundering of department items
- Removal of garbage
- Resort watering
- Answer department calls
- Complete deliveries to outlet businesses and department orders
- Assist with guest room plant watering
- Perform other duties as needed.
