Residential Flooring Installer - W2, Full Time
About The Position
West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The Flooring Installer performs safe and effective flooring installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a high-quality experience. The role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. Installers arrive at the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes to complete flooring work, and return to the warehouse after collecting paperwork and payment. The approximate pay range is $17–$21 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Requirements
- Experience installing windows or doors, carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Demonstrate and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while performing installations.
