About The Position

West Shore Home is a leading home improvement company specializing in high-quality remodels of Bathrooms, Flooring, Windows, and Doors, operating in over 40 locations nationwide with over 3,000 employees. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for performing safe and effective installations according to Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol, while ensuring a 5-star customer experience. This role involves arriving at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks, traveling to customer homes, removing existing flooring, installing replacement floors and trim, cleaning up the work area, and collecting paperwork and payment before returning to the warehouse.

Requirements

• Experience installing window/doors, carpentry, remodeling, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol.
• Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Demo and remove existing flooring.
• Install replacement floors.
• Replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse.
