About The Position

The Floorhand is responsible for the general maintenance of a drilling rig and performs assigned tasks safely and efficiently. This role involves working closely with the Driller and Rig Manager, and requires a strong commitment to company values and safety practices.

• Must have valid H2S Alive ticket, Standard First Aid ticket, and eGSO
• Relevant experience of field work in the oilfield services industry
• Completion of Savanna’s Greenhand Program

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks safely, efficiently and within the parameters of Company policies
• Utilize tongs to connect and disconnect drill pipe/equipment as it is being lowered or raised
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Assist other members of the crew as needed
• Clean, scrub, and paint the rig floor and rig in general
• Drive mobile equipment and run general errands as required
• Take an appropriate part in closing in the well if required
• Other duties as assigned
