About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Floor Technician to join their Environmental Services team. This role is responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floors and carpets throughout the facility, adhering to organizational standards. The technician will also be responsible for stripping and refinishing floors, and disposing of bio-medical and hazardous waste according to regulations. This position requires delivering exceptional service to patients and guests, and involves exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases. The estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.84 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with continuous exposure to cleaning agents and dust.
No Experience Required

Nice To Haves

Floor care experience preferred.
Previous environmental services experience desired.

Responsibilities

Perform daily project assignments.
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floor and carpets throughout the facility consistent with organization standards.
