About The Position

This position is urgently hiring for a Floor Technician. The role requires floor care experience, including the application of floor finish and stripper, and the use of side-by-side and wet vacuums. The technician will be responsible for completing assigned tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning of floors. Additionally, the role involves assisting with special projects, completing other assigned duties, and notifying management about the need for repairs or additions to building systems. Maintaining effective communication with clients, co-workers, and management is crucial, as is adhering to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards. Flexibility and willingness to perform all assigned tasks are essential. The technician will clean building floors using various methods and follow procedures for chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage. Requisitioning supplies and equipment, and potentially making basic repairs, are also part of the responsibilities. The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs at least 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors.
Assists with special projects within the account as needed.
Willing to complete other duties as assigned.
Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
May be expected to make basic repairs.
