About The Position

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Floor Technician to help keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for employees, guests, and ministry partners. In this role, you’ll use professional floor care equipment and techniques to maintain the appearance and longevity of our flooring and common areas. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN’s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. This on-call position primarily supports weekday evening shifts (5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.). Candidates must be flexible and available to work additional times based on departmental needs. The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.

Requirements

Working knowledge of commercial floor care techniques, carpet care, and general housekeeping practices.
Experience operating commercial floor care equipment, including battery-powered scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, extractors, and related machinery.
Ability to safely operate equipment and properly handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with established safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Ability to identify floor care needs and recommend appropriate maintenance solutions.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while contributing positively as a member of a team.
Flexibility to adjust priorities and assignments based on operational needs.
Professional demeanor with the ability to work discreetly and courteously around employees, guests, and ministry partners.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete assignments accurately and on schedule.
Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and safe equipment operation skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.
Ability to lift, carry and move equipment and materials weighing 40 pounds or more.
Demonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s non-profit Christian mission.
