About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Floor Technician to perform daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floors and carpets throughout the facility. This role involves stripping and refinishing floors, and disposing of bio-medical and hazardous waste according to regulations. The Floor Technician will ensure services are delivered in a manner that consistently provides exceptional service to patients, guests, and others. This position involves exposure to hazardous materials and various infectious diseases.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Certificate of attendance, GED, or Experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with continuous exposure to cleaning agents and dust.
• No Experience Required

Nice To Haves

• Floor care experience preferred.
• Previous environmental services experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily project assignments.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floors and carpets throughout the facility consistent with organization standards.
• Strip and refinish floors.
• Dispose of bio-medical and hazardous waste as regulated.
• Deliver exceptional service to patients, guests, and others.
