Part Time Floor Technician

About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Tech to maintain and upkeep carpet and hard surface floors. This is a part-time position with hours from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Pay starts at $17.00/hr. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. This role is suitable for individuals new to the workforce or re-entering with limited experience and education. ABM is a military and veteran-friendly employer, and veterans with military experience are encouraged to apply. Relevant Military Occupational Specialties include 92S, 92Y, LS, and DC.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
No experience required and on the job training provided.
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
1 year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors.
Assists with special projects within the account as needed.
Willing to complete other duties as assigned.
Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities.
Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.
Assists in emergencies as needed.
