About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Floor Technician at AHN Suburban Campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role is responsible for floor maintenance and restoration and for operating industrial floor care equipment. The technician maintains hard-surface floors through stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing; uses automated equipment on large floor areas; and cleans carpets and upholstery using methods such as shampooing, damp-surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. The role also includes maintaining and restoring different types of floor surfaces and performing other duties assigned by the manager.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. Afternoon and weekend availability is required. Prior customer service and floor care experience is preferred. The stated pay range is $18.50 to $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is required.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Prior floor care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Clean carpet and upholstery using procedures such as shampooing, damp-surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
