Floor Technician
About The Position
The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors and other surfaces within the facility. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, buffing, waxing, and carpet care. The technician will also perform light cleaning of windows and walls, maintain equipment and supplies, and adhere to workplace safety standards. This is a position that requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the capacity to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
- Must pass background checks
