Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 18 months of full-time work experience directly related to the role.
• Must be trained thoroughly before beginning work - mentor (trainer) approval before working alone.
• Must be well-versed on chemicals and their use.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with stripping/waxing floors.
• Carpet cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining carpet while meeting quality and timeliness standards.
• Ensuring the company mission statement and values are followed.
• Maintaining a high standard of excellence.
• Working with efficiency and quality.
• Inspecting all areas prior to cleaning for damage and stains.
• Determining washing method based on condition.
• Vacuuming loose dirt/debris from items to be cleaned.
• Pre-treating stains according to fiber-surface.
• Walking all assigned buildings or floors to ensure all are ready for occupancy.
• Reporting unit maintenance issues as per company procedure.
• Lifting and moving furniture as needed.
• Properly using carpet cleaning equipment.
• Maintaining carpet cleaning equipment daily.
• Storing all chemicals in an approved area.
• Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
• Maintaining and operating company-owned vehicles.
• Ensuring a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Demonstrating a sense of urgency to ensure duties are completed on time.
• Being prompt with all assignments and appointments.
• Using supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Performing inventories of supplies and equipment.
• Assisting in solving guest complaints promptly.
• Creating strong, positive customer relations.
• Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners.
• Being knowledgeable of the resort.
