Requirements
- Experience in maintaining, cleaning, and restoring various types of flooring surfaces in commercial, industrial, and office facilities.
- Ability to perform routine and specialized floor care services, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and carpet maintenance.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining floor care equipment, including burnishers, buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintaining tile, vinyl, terrazzo, concrete, and other floor types.
- Understanding of safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to maintain inventory of floor care supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Skill in reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions.
- Capability to ensure assigned work areas meet cleanliness and appearance standards.
- Willingness to assist with general custodial duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, dust, and clean hard surface floors.
- Strip, wax, seal, and refinish floors as needed.
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including burnishers, buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
- Shampoo, spot clean, and extract carpets.
- Perform high-speed buffing and polishing of floors.
- Remove stains, scuffs, and marks from flooring surfaces.
- Clean and maintain tile, vinyl, terrazzo, concrete, and other floor types.
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of floor care supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure assigned work areas meet cleanliness and appearance standards.
- Assist with general custodial duties as required.
