About The Position

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining beautiful floors and common spaces while working independently in a professional environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe
- Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and be tactful in dealing with others
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in floor maintenance preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine floor care throughout the community
- Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, extractors, and scrubbers
- Strip, wax, buff, and refinish hard surface flooring
- Perform carpet cleaning and extraction as needed
- Complete floor restoration and special project work
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and resident spaces
- Respond to Environmental Services requests in a timely manner
- Maintain equipment and supplies in proper working condition
- Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Assist with special events setup and cleanup as needed
