Floor Technician - Environmental Services
About The Position
The Floor Technician is responsible for utilizing cleaning agents to maintain patient and non-patient care areas. This includes maintaining floors and carpets, disposing of trash and linen, cleaning surface areas, and monitoring and cleaning of public waiting areas and building entrances. The role also involves cleaning office and waiting areas and assisting with other duties as assigned. The technician will provide customer service to patients and visitors by communicating needs to appropriate staff and establishing a good rapport with all staff. Must possess effective communication skills for the population served and complete basic computer data entry.
