About The Position
PCMS is seeking a dependable and motivated Floor Technician to join our team in a hospital environment. This position is responsible for maintaining hard floor surfaces and supporting a clean, safe, and professional healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment and maintain professionalism
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Must be dependable and have good attendance
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Floor care experience preferred but not required for the right candidate
- Experience operating floor machines is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate floor care equipment, including buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and related machines
- Perform floor maintenance duties such as buffing, scrubbing, polishing, and restoring floor surfaces
- Assist with stripping and waxing floors as needed
- Sweep, mop, and maintain assigned areas
- Follow all hospital safety, infection control, and facility procedures
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance concerns
- Complete assigned work independently and as part of a team
- Ensure all work meets PCMS quality standards
