Floor Technician (PT 4:30pm-9:30pm)

Floor Technician Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring various types of flooring surfaces to ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment. This role requires knowledge of floor care equipment, materials, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous floor care or janitorial experience REQUIRED
- Ability to operate floor maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of floor finishes, strippers, and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Floor care: 2 years (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment (buffers, burnishers, scrubbers, extractors, etc.)
- Perform carpet cleaning and extraction
- Refinish hard surface floors, including tile, VCT, concrete, and hardwood
- Apply floor finishes and sealants according to manufacturer specifications
- Remove trash and maintain overall cleanliness of assigned areas
- Follow all safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
