About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join the Environmental Services Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. This role is responsible for performing floor care, including top scrubs, stripping, and refinishing floors across the organization, including physician clinics which may be located off the main campus. The Floor Technician will also clean rooms after C-Sections and emergency surgeries, potentially during late evening or early morning hours, and perform other environmental services duties as assigned by the EVS manager and supervisor.

Requirements

Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Performs floor care, top scrubs and or strips and refinishes all floors in the organization including physician clinics with some being off main campuses, as requested by the EVS manager and the EVS Supervisor.
Cleans rooms after C-Sections and or emergency surgeries that may occur in the late evening and or early morning hours.
Performs other environmental services responsibilities as requested.
