About The Position

Landmark is looking for a Hospital Floor Technician to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with the entire staff to ensure patient satisfaction. Under general direction, you will clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility. Duties include cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing of tile floors in patient care areas and throughout the facility. As part of the EVS Housekeeping team, side work, room cleaning, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year hospital floor tech experience is preferred.
• Understands Safety Data Sheets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Detail and goal oriented.
• Maintain regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.
• Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors within the hospital.
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to policy and procedure.
• Use and maintain equipment properly.
• Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely.
• Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs “wet floor”.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Reports safety hazards appropriately.
• Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.
