About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices; operating floor care equipment safely; maintaining activity records; and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Floor Tech follows infection control and universal precautions, completes routine tasks, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.

• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
