About The Position
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for a long-term care nursing facility in Lakeland, Florida. This is a temporary, full-time position. On-the-job training is provided. Walk-ins are welcome to fill out an application in person.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
Nice To Haves
- Environmental Services or housekeeping experience.
- Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or healthcare environment.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
- Operate various pieces of equipment such as extractors, auto-scrapers, high-speed buffers, shop vacs, side-to-side buffers, vacuums, and steam machines.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and store properly in designated locations after each use.
- Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
