Floor Tech (Part Time, 7am - 3pm)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices, while operating floor-care equipment safely and efficiently. The Floor Tech helps maintain a sanitary environment by following infection control and universal precautions policies, records floor-care activities, and reports maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor. The position also involves positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests and providing excellent customer service. The listed pay starts at USD $12.00 per hour. The stated schedule is 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the job description does not specify the days worked.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Work around food and cleaning products.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.
