About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Floor Tech, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices, while operating floor care equipment safely and efficiently. The Floor Tech helps maintain a sanitary environment by following infection control and universal precautions policies, keeps records of floor care activities, and reports maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor. The position also involves positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests and providing excellent customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around food and cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
