About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Floor Tech and help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role involves floor care in resident rooms, common areas, and offices, with a focus on creating a sanitary, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. The position requires safe operation of floor care equipment, adherence to infection control policies, and positive customer service. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
