About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices; operating floor care equipment; and helping maintain a sanitary environment by following infection control and universal precautions policies. The Floor Tech also records floor care activities, reports maintenance or safety issues, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods and perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
Be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
