About The Position

As a Floor Tech, your primary role will involve a variety of floor cleaning and maintenance tasks. This includes stripping and refinishing hard surface floors, scrubbing concrete and specialized flooring, carpet extraction, dry foam carpeting, bonnet cleaning, and cleaning upholstered furniture. You will be responsible for using various floor-related equipment and supplies, completing all assigned paperwork, and reporting safety issues immediately. The role requires attention to detail to ensure newly constructed or remodeled structures are ready for tenant occupancy.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old.
A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
Valid driver's license and pass driving background.
Must be able to follow and understand all manufacture labels and directions on any and all chemicals/products used by the Specialty Services Department.
Ability to perform construction clean/final clean of newly constructed/remodeled structures.
Ability to perform heavy lifting while completing work in the Specialty Services Department.
Must have other employees present to assist with any of the lifting as to allow for the furniture and other items to be removed and or replaced safely.

Responsibilities

Strip and refinish hard surface floors using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
Scrub and refinish hard surface floors using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
Scrub concrete floors using low speed swing machine, autoscrubber, rider sweeper scrubber and other floor related equipment and supplies.
Scrub ceramic, marble, terrazzo, and/or other specialized flooring using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
Perform carpet extraction using self-contained carpet extractors, minispotters and other carpet care related equipment and supplies.
Perform dry foam carpeting using a Taski Ergo disk dry foam machine.
Perform bonnet cleaning using low speed swing machine, bonnets and other related equipment and supplies.
Clean carpet and upholstered furniture using CRF wet extraction equipment and CRF supplies.
Complete all paperwork related to job orders and work orders assigned each day.
Bring any and all safety related issues up to your lead person and or manager immediately.
Perform any and all other duties assigned related to the Specialty Services Division.
