Floor Tech - Evening Shift
About The Position
The Floor Tech is responsible for keeping school facilities clean and floors in good condition. The role operates floor-cleaning equipment as the primary Floor Tech and performs routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. The employee also assists the janitorial team with general facility cleaning and maintaining high safety standards. This is a part-time, on-site position at a local school on Mathis Ferry Road in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 4:00 PM–8:00 PM or 5:00 PM–9:00 PM, for 20 hours per week. Pay is $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check required for work in school facilities.
- Reliable transportation.
- Physical capability to operate floor machinery.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating floor-care equipment is preferred; training is provided.
