Floor Tech - Hospital
About The Position
A hospital floor technician is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining hard-surface and carpeted floors in healthcare facilities. This role involves delivering a high-quality cleaning service to create and maintain a safe work environment. The technician will operate industrial floor care machinery, including automated floor scrubbers, buffers, and stripping/waxing machines. Duties also include stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing hard surfaces, as well as supporting Environmental Services (EVS) by wiping down equipment, dusting, and performing general housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- Related experience is required.
- Previous experience buffing, stripping, and waxing floors is required.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
