About The Position

The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor ensures all guest rooms meet the highest standards by overseeing Room Attendants and Housemen on the floors and conducting detailed inspections of their work. This role is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels, keeping linen closets neat, cleaned and stocked, and inspecting rooms daily for cleanliness and defects. The supervisor will also inspect VIP rooms prior to guest arrival, report maintenance deficiencies, ensure updated room statuses, and oversee the proper care and use of equipment and supplies. Additionally, the role involves ensuring prompt forwarding of Lost and Found items, conducting and monitoring training programs, evaluating performance reviews, and reporting any loss or damage to furniture, fixtures, or equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience or related work.
  • Good communication and written skills are essential
  • Strong training and supervisory skill are essential in this role
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to use the property management systems such as Opera systems, HotSOS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all guest rooms meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels.
  • Keep all linen closets neat, cleaned and stocked.
  • Inspect rooms daily, including check-out, vacant and make-up rooms for cleanliness and to ensure rooms are defect free.
  • Inspect all VIP rooms prior to guest arrival.
  • Report to the Housekeeping Coordinator any maintenance deficiencies that require immediate attention and follow up on their status.
  • Ensure that all vacant/clean rooms and stay over rooms have an updated status.
  • Ensure proper care and use of equipment, carts, baskets, cleaning and guest room supplies.
  • Ensure that all Lost and Found items are promptly forwarded to the Lost and Found Department.
  • Personally conduct training as required and on a regular basis.
  • Monitor the implementation and progress of training programs on their effectiveness.
  • Regularly conduct and evaluate performance reviews.
  • Report any loss or damage to furniture, fixtures, or equipment on guest floors to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping.
