About The Position
This role involves two main functions: Concessions Worker and Usher. As a Concessions Worker, you will sell concessions like popcorn and soda to movie patrons in a friendly manner, maintain the cleanliness of the concession area and equipment, and handle money accurately, including giving correct change. As an Usher, you will direct patrons to auditoriums, rip tickets, monitor auditoriums to ensure an enjoyable experience, interact with patrons, check movie sound and picture quality, and clean auditoriums between showings.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Have good math skills
- Have a friendly personality
Nice To Haves
- BASSETT training a plus
- Basic math: 1 year (Preferred)
- Night Shift availability (Preferred)
- Day Shift availability (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Selling concessions (popcorn, soda, etc.) to movie patrons in a friendly manner
- Keeping concession area neat and clean
- Cleaning concession equipment
- Accurate money handling (giving correct change)
- Directing patrons to the appropriate auditoriums
- Ripping tickets
- Monitoring the auditoriums to make sure all patrons are receiving an enjoyable experience
- Dealing with patrons
- Checking the movie sound and picture for any problems
- Cleaning auditoriums between movies
