About The Position

The Floor Staff Operator Slide Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest safety and providing excellent customer service at the museum. This role involves enforcing rules and regulations, operating attractions, and assisting guests with inquiries. The position requires a high level of attentiveness, energy, and the ability to work in various conditions.

Requirements

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
Ability to accept guidance and supervision
Ability to communicate effectively with the public, customers and staff members
Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
Energy and enthusiasm for long days
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
Approachable and outgoing
Energy and enthusiasm for long days
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs
Must be able to crawl and climb

Responsibilities

Ensure all guests who enter have valid admission tickets or season passes
Greet each guest encountered with a friendly approach to customer service
Maintain knowledge of and consistently enforce the rules and regulations of the museum (including attraction requirements such as height restrictions, weight restrictions, proper riding position, etc.)
Assist customers in safely riding attractions by operating slides or other attractions
Communicate with management and other employees, including use of two-way radios
Be attentive at all times
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
Assist customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenities
Perform zone walkthrough and ensure zones are maintained to park standards
Follow all park policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
