About The Position
The Floor Person is responsible for maintaining cleanliness on the production floor by picking up loose product and ensuring crumbs are properly funneled into catch tubs for easy cleanup. This role also involves cleaning any messes made by crumbs, taking breaks at adjusted times to accommodate cleanup and supply restocking, and filling in for other workers on the line as needed. The position requires performing all other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, grab, bend, push, pull, and lift 25lbs up to 60lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to do repetitive work 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Responsibilities
- Picking up any loose product on the floor.
- Making sure crumbs are properly funneled into catch tubs for easy clean up.
- Cleaning any messes made by crumbs.
- Taking a late or early break due to having to stay during the scheduled break to do clean up and supply restocking.
- Filling in for other workers on the line as needed.
- Performing all other duties assigned.
