About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule. This position is responsible for working with various chemicals, operating high pressure hose and air wand in cleaning, reporting any issues to the supervisor or lead and fill out various log sheets, and performing work in the silos. This position is required to follow all Tyson safety rules. (temperature ranging from 38°F to 94°F, depending on production area and season), wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors. This position also may be exposed to air borne particles, and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection. This position will require walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 30lbs on a frequent basis. Must be able to work a variable schedule to include every weekend and holiday. All other assigned duties given by supervisor. All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
