About The Position

The Floor Person Labor position at the New Holland Plant is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of product into the dumper to keep the line full. This role involves meticulous record-keeping of tanks used, including ticket numbers, pounds, and kill dates. The Floor Person also maintains a clean and safe work environment by clearing floors of product and waste, and disposing of it properly. Additionally, this position supports the Marination Operator with batch preparation and requires the willingness and ability to obtain Pallet Jack/Tow Motor Operator certification. Proficiency with Plant View/SAP/EIM is necessary, along with performing other assigned duties. The pay rate for this position is $19.65/hour.

Requirements

Willingness to work in a cold and wet environment.
Willingness to lift as needed up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to read, write, and understand simple arithmetic in order to maintain department records.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Able to perform essential job functions.
Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered.
180 days (6 months) waiting period.

Responsibilities

Push tanks into dumper and dump as needed to keep line full of product.
Record tanks used, including ticket numbers, pounds and kill dates.
Keep floors clear of product, plastic waste, etc. and dispose in appropriate container.
Assist Marination Operator in preparing batches as needed.
Willing and able to obtain Pallet Jack/Tow Motor Operator certification.
Able to work with Plant View/SAP/EIM.
Other duties as assigned.
