About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have legible handwriting.
• Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
• Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
• Requires walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.
• Must have 3 months of working history with one employer listed on the application.
• All applicants must complete the final task that is separate from the application.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Computer experience preferred.
• Prefer 3 months of operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
• Receive training as required.
• Perform various positions as required/assigned.
• Visually inspect all floor equipment and make adjustments when needed.
• Monitor the product throughout the processing phase.
• Properly operate the meat side equipment.
• Maintain and operate the equipment to provide quality product for our customer.
• Complete Tyson paperwork.
