About The Position

This position is accountable for monitoring product throughout the processing phase. Must maintain good communication with receiving/preparation, floor operators, grinding room, and loadout to coordinate equipment adjustments as needed. Responsible for the operation of computers that operate the facility. May be required to reset breakers, starters, and variable frequency drives. This person must be able to identify all motor controls or equipment and relay information to team member for correct lockout. Monitors controls, relays temps, gate positions, and speeds to Team members, operates computers, volt meters, electrical equipment, centrifuge/analysis machines, and basic hand tools. Reports any unsafe items to the supervisor, resets controls in motor control center, follow plant safety rules, perform QA/HACCP duties as assigned and communicate via two way radio.

Requirements

  • Must have 6 months continuous work history with single employer in the past 12 months.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time spending tedious hours observing a computer screen.
  • Ability to distinguish colors of flashing lights.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves
