About The Position

KindPeoples is looking for a motivated member to join our Floor Manager (FM) team! The FM position is a core function within KindPeoples, FM's are held to the highest standards of integrity and reliability. See details below. The role contains knowledge of bartending and pharmacology; they are welcoming and engage in friendly and positive conversation while consulting customers based on their individual needs. Floor managers are responsible for maintaining a kind and safe environment to provide our customers with a delightful experience.

Requirements

All applicants must be available to work nights and weekends
Management experience is preferred
Must live Santa Cruz County & have reliable transportation
Excellent cash handling
Highly organized
Excellent Computing skills
Communicates effectively
Confident in fast-paced environments
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds
All offers are contingent on passing a background check, and applicants must be 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

Sales experience a plus
Cannabis experience preferred

Responsibilities

Overseeing all Floor operations
Training, managing, and mentoring for all front-house employees
Sales overview and customer consultation assistance
Maintaining a high level of customer service and efficient procedures
Managing all returns and customer concerns
Assist with retail shift call-outs on weekends and general retail scheduling feedback
Facilitating tips distribution, record keeping, and organization for all floor staff tips
Cash reconcilliation and bank deposit prep
Convey appropriate, direct communication through Microsoft Teams and Outlook
End shift till reconciliation and proper cashing handling practices
Merchandizing and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the floor at all times
Online ordering operations
Facilitating employee breaks
Communicating innovative ideas to eliminate waste and improve efficiency through the proper channels
Contribute to employee performance reviews/evaluations
Set the example of professional behavior and high performance
