About The Position

The Floor Manager oversees daily restaurant operations and trains new staff at The h.wood Group, a Los Angeles-based hospitality and lifestyle company with upscale nightlife and restaurant concepts. The role is suited to someone with fine-dining and high-volume restaurant experience who is energetic, organized, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Floor Manager helps deliver a warm, inviting, and distinctive experience to guests while maintaining company standards and supporting restaurant teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in stressful environments.
• Strong knowledge of front- and back-of-house operations.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
• High energy and strong communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Oversee new-hire paperwork and train new staff members.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding food quality, safety, labor, and employment.
• Ensure cleanliness and restaurant appearance standards.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the AGM and GM.
